{"id":21456,"date":"2026-03-23T17:20:10","date_gmt":"2026-03-23T17:20:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theplatforminternational.org\/?page_id=21456"},"modified":"2026-03-31T12:39:39","modified_gmt":"2026-03-31T12:39:39","slug":"our-beliefs","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/theplatforminternational.org\/index.php\/our-beliefs\/","title":{"rendered":"Our Beliefs"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>GOD<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is only one eternal, all-powerful, all-knowing, and everywhere-present Triune God\u2014<strong>Father, Son, and Holy Spirit<\/strong>\u2014who is the creator and sustainer of all things (<strong>Deuteronomy 6:4\u20135; 1 Timothy 2:5<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>JESUS CHRIST<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human. He lived a sinless life, died to make atonement for the sins of all mankind, was resurrected, and now serves as mediator at the right hand of the Father. He is coming again in power and glory for His believing followers and is the <strong>only Savior of mankind<\/strong> (<strong>John 1:1, 14; Titus 2:11\u201314<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HOLY SPIRIT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, regenerating all who repent of their sins and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. He sanctifies, empowers, teaches, guides, and comforts believers (<strong>John 16:7\u20138, 12\u201315<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BIBLE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bible is the <strong>inerrant, divinely inspired Word of God<\/strong> and is authoritative in all matters it addresses (<strong>2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20\u201321<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SALVATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Salvation is the result of genuine repentance of sin and faith in the atoning work of Christ. It brings forgiveness to the repentant, makes the believer a participant in the divine nature, and gives peace with God. This transforming experience is called the <strong>new birth<\/strong> (<strong>Titus 3:5; 1 Peter 1:3\u20135<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CHURCH<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We believe in the invisible and universal Church as the living Body of Christ, composed of all believers in the Lord Jesus who are united by faith to Christ, its living Head and sovereign Lord (<strong>Matthew 16:18; Hebrews 12:22\u201324<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ORDINANCES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We believe there are two Christian ordinances: <strong>Baptism<\/strong> and <strong>the Lord\u2019s Supper<\/strong>.
